Connects in 5 minutes—literally. (Note:  We didn't say 'Installs in 5 minutes.'  It takes a while to mount the indoor unit on the wall, feed the lines through the wall, etc.  But once that's done, it's quick--and easy.)
No HVAC tech needed.
5-Year Happiness Guarantee.

The Guarantee

You:
“Wait, so after the first-year Buy-and-Try period—where I can return it for a full refund, including shipping both ways—there’s another 4 years where you’ll fix the unit for free if anything goes wrong? No tech fees? No parts fees? No shipping fees? No Way! That can’t be right.”

Us: "Way."

This isn’t one of those warranties where we toss parts in your direction and hope for the best. If something goes wrong, we'll help you troubleshoot, send you parts at our cost and refund you for your time to install them as needed, cover all shipping, and even replace the unit if required. You won’t be stuck chasing help or paying out of pocket.

And in the first year? You’re covered by our no-risk, no-hassle, no-regret Buy-and-Try Guarantee. If you're not thrilled, return it for a full refund, including all shipping.

Are we crazy? Maybe. But not about this. We know these units are solid, so we’re backing them with the strongest guarantee in the industry. Your happiness is our happiness.

  • Infinite-efficiency when running on solar alone—no batteries needed

  • Eligible for up to 30% federal tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act (Form 5695 – current law, subject to change)

Connection in 5 Minutes—Seriously.

No vacuum pump. No nitrogen. No gauges. No torque wrench. The only tool you'll need is a drill.

With our patent-pending Quick 'n' Easy™ system, you:

  • Twist-to-connect the pre-charged refrigerant lines

  • Plug in the pre-installed power cord

  • Snap together the communications wire

  • Click in your solar lines using standard MC4 connectors

That’s it.

And yes—it’s portable. Move it to another room, another house, another state. Just unplug and unscrew, then reinstall it the same way in minutes.

What’s Included

Everything you need for solar-powered heating and cooling—except the solar panels:

  • Indoor and outdoor units (12,000 BTU cooling / 12,000 BTU heating)

  • Pre-charged (not pre-vacuumed), twist-to-connect refrigerant line set (3 meters (9' 10", insulated copper)

  • Pre-installed 110v/115v/120v 15-amp power cord

  • 4-meter, 4-lead communication control wire

  • Wall bracket, putty, and hardware

  • Remote control (with batteries)

  • 10-ft condensate hose

  • 2” x 50-ft wrapping tape

  • Dust caps for valve protection

  • MC4 disconnect tools and extra connectors

  • Clear, native-English installation instructions

Quick 'n' Easy Exclusive Bonus Kit:

  • 4 ft. solar whips ($18.90 value)

  • DC isolator box ($33.60 value)

  • 10m solar wire ($45.65 value)

  • Gloves, zip ties, electrical tape, 36" of insulation

  • Hole saw, drill bits, screwdriver bit, and level ($75+ combined value)

  • Every cord and wire pre-installed, every fitting test-run before we ship.  Before we ship, your unit will have been tested on solar, grid, and a combination of both powers, so you won't have any issues. We catch any problems before shipment to save us both time.

What’s Not Included

  • Solar panels & racking.
You’ll need around 1,500W of solar (a little under or over is totally fine). If you are under, extra grid power may be required. If you are over, there may be some extra voltage that never converts to energy.  Either way, no big deal.
We don’t currently ship panels—they’re large, heavy, glass, and can’t go UPS like the rest of the unit. We’ll help connect you with a local supplier. Budget about $600 plus mounting hardware.

In Summary:

Truly backed by us, not left to you
No tools beyond a drill

Great Quality and Best Customer Service Communication

First, Dave, the owner of the company, is awesome. It is very nice to find someone who is hands on with their company. He will respond to any questions in a very timely manner.
Second, this 12000 btu quick n easy model is exactly as stated. Super easy installation. Very nice unit, just beware, if you turn the temperature down too low, it will freeze you out. Very hot in Fl. already and this unit runs with free solar energy all day long. I have my wife putting her jacket on when I crank it low. Very pleased with my purchase, will be purchasing another soon.

Finally it's possible!! Great customer service

I've been waiting for what seems like 15 years for this tech to mature and come to market in a feasible and legitate product.

If you can drill a hole in your wall, you can install this. I have the tools to do the HVAC tech "required" install, but for the price, this is a no brainer. I had a block wall, old slump block, which required a $45 diamond bit drill, but unless you have this type of block, EVERYTHING is included. Even the whole saw included would probably cut through concrete, just not through my block - it had literal granite in it.

There are competitors on the market. I won't mention them, but you likely are very familiar with them. After reading just a handful of reviews from the other guys, it was an easy call.

In fact, the owner of Airspool, replied to my email, on a weekend, within an hour. I did not expect that, and I even told him to wait until Monday to reply (been a small business owner, so I know what it's like) but he responded to my emails within hours (probably minutes actually.)

I'm only a week or so it, and living in Phoenix, i've got it turned all the way down, but it got too cold (only May.) I'm realistic about my expectations for cooling, so with that in mind, assuming this lasts as long as the warranty would suggest, I expect to be very happy.

Don't hesitate, do it, pull the (metaphorical) trigger!

Best item we have ever bought

We bought one. It was so easy to install. We have a large AC on the roof and window units. This product works so much better. We bought 2 more units. We are using solar, but can use PG&E. Our electric bill has really gone down.

Thank you Dave for the Quick N’ Easy hybrid mini split 12k BTU after destroying the first one you...

TLDR
Dave is awesome and truly cares about his customers. He is professional and stays in communication with you even after you purchase. I highly recommend buying from him and the unit is great. I had to replace the original one I ordered after kinking the copper lineset. Dave reassured me and made it right by swapping it out for a brand new unit. Thanks Airspool.

I bought the 12k Hybrid Quick N Easy Mini split and had quite the journey of hooking it up. Put the unit in my garage near the ceiling and it was hard to lift and put all the lines through the wall solo at 9 feet high. Eventually I got the indoor unit installed then went outside to connect the lineset to the outdoor unit. Got that hooked up after a little trouble due to the fact that the indoor lineset stub coming through the wall barely protruded out the hole to the exterior brick wall. It was difficult to bend the copper stub lineset down. After connecting these and plugging in the communication cable and power cord I eagerly went inside the garage to test the coolness of the air coming out from the indoor unit. Here is where I made the first mistake of using a a temperature probe. My arm got tired from holding for over a minute and I accidentally pushed the probe too far into the unit. The metal probe hit the fan blower wheel while it was spinning causing a small portion of the wheel’s plastic spokes to break. They fell to the floor but the unit was still working and operating as normal. I blew a sigh of relief and emailed Dave VanZanten, the owner of Airspool. Much to my surprise he responded right away (within 30 minutes). He even sent me a troubleshooting video if I wanted to attempt to fix and a new infrared thermometer free of charge. The indoor unit remained fully operational so I just let it be and counted my blessings.

A few days later I made the decision that I wanted to move the outdoor unit to a new location and mount it to a brick wall that was further away from my home’s central ac unit. After emailing Dave he quickly reassured me that you can indeed move the unit as long as you give it 15-30 minutes of power down time. So I then proceeded to disconnect the lines. Here is when disaster struck. I had to bend the lineset/stubb coming through the wall in a different direction in order to mount the exterior unit in a new location. Trying not to kink this stubb, I still accidentally managed to bend one of the copper lines too far. The result was a leak/kink that let all of the refrigerant out slowly over a few minutes.

I panicked and emailed Dave again late on Easter Sunday. He again responded quickly and professionally. After explaining my mistakes and situation he came up with a plan to send back these units (indoor and outdoor) as long as I could pay for shippping. He even made a new SKU for those like me with thicker interior walls who needed a longer interior lineset stubb. I was able to purchase this new add on and some additional feet of exterior lineset to make the job easier for the new units. Dave sent me a new exterior and interior unit with precharged lineset and prepaid labels to send the old units back. He said he just wanted me to be happy with my purchase even after I totally screwed everything up. I thought I would have to repurchase the entire system at the higher after tariff price but no Dave saved the day. Thank you Dave and Airspool for the quick communication, transparency, and for taking great care of an idiot like me. I definitely recommend getting someone to help you lift and move these units, especially when trying to mount the outdoor unit up in the air on the wall.
