You've been asking for it, and here it is! This allows you to have cold (or warm) air in 2 different zones. The primary zone is 18,000 BTU and must be located within 15' of the outdoor unit, and the second zone is 12,000 BTU and must be located within 90' of the outdoor unit. Purchase your extended line set for the second unit here in increments of <50. ( For this 2nd indoor unit, measure the distance between this proposed 2nd indoor unit and your proposed outdoor unit location, and add 3 ft. then subtract 10'. Why? We recommend adding at least 3 extra feet onto your line set, since the line set must be curved line a train track, not bent like a measuring tape. So, a bit of extra won't hurt, but being too short is painful. Next, we provide you with 10' of line set with any unit, so subtract off this original 10'. Example: You measured 20'. Order 13' (20' + 3' extra - 10 ft. original). Got it? Example 2: You only need 7', because you are putting one indoor unit on one side of and internal wall (say, for a living room) and another unit on the other side of that internal wall (say, for a bedroom). 7 + 3 -10 = 0, so you won't need to order any extended line set. So, a recommendation in this case would be to have the outdoor unit aligned a bit more with the bedroom, and this way, you'll for sure be good for the 12k BTU unit and the 18k BTU unit, since the 18k BTU unit has 5 meters of line set (around 16' 5").
Like the original Quick 'n' Easy, both indoor units are twist-to-connect onto the outdoor unit for the refrigerant lines and the communication/control wires. And, the outdoor unit still comes pre-wired. In this case, it has a 220V-240V pigtail of proper gauge wire. If you need a plug put on the end of it, get in touch, and we'll add this free of charge based on your 220V-240V outlet (receptacle) requirements.
So, what's the story with these multi-splits, anyway? The outdoor unit is 24k BTU, but this unit has 18k and 12k BTU indoor units. 12 + 18 = 30. 24 = 24. 30 > 24. How can this work? Well, if there is a huge delta T (temperature difference) between your setpoint and the current indoor temperature where that indoor unit is located, and the delta T is smaller where the other unit is located, then both rooms can be satisfied with the outdoor unit. If the delta T is huge for both places, then the refrigerant gets divvied up, and maybe the 18k runs like a 14k and the 12k runs like a 10k. But, on the other hand, if you are only in one room, you may not need to run the other room full bore, right? In that case, the multi-split is the ticket.
Multi-split advantages
- Potential cost savings for the unit
- Smaller outdoor unit footprint (e.g., only 1 unit)
Mini-split advantages
- Redundancy (e.g., each unit runs independently)
- Less line set (since the outdoor units can usually be positioned near the indoor unit
- The ability to run one zone in heating while the other zone is in cooling
- 110 -120v power for 12k BTU units (which can plug into a normal wall outlet)
Airspool: The guaranteed success solar multi-split. Only 5 minutes to connect the refrigerant lines, communication control lines, solar lines, and alternating current (for hybrid use) using our patent-pending Quick 'n' Easy(TM) system. High-efficiency 23 SEER2 for cooling and 10 HSPF2 for heating when running on grid, infinite-efficiency free free free when running off-grid, and a combination of the two when running hybrid using both solar and grid (or inverter) power. No batteries, inverter, or voltage controller is needed for the solar panels--just attach them in series and click them onto the outdoor unit. So, much, much less installation friction compared to any and all other multi-splits. In fact, you'll be able to attach the inside and outside units in around 5 minutes each. Literally, the only tool you need is a drill. How? The refrigerant lines twist to connect and are pre-charged with refrigerant (not just pre-vacuumed), so no vacuum pump, nitrogen tank, manifold gauge set, torque wrench, adjustable wrench, your brother-in-law, your neighbor, etc. are needed. Same with the included communications control wires...just twist to connect. And the included UL-approved, correct-amperage electrical cord is not only included but also pre-installed. Thinking you might need to move your unit in the future? No problem! Yes, this is a portable multi-split. So, if you want to move the Quick 'n' Easy(TM) indoor units to another room? Or move the outdoor unit? To another house in another state? Have at it. It's portable like that. Just unscrew and unplug, and then set it up the same way at your new location.
Here's what's included...
- The system (with 24k outdoor unit and 18k + 12k indoor unit)
- Both free cooling and heating (yes, this is a heat pump)

Finally, these specific Quick 'n' Easy exclusives are your inclusives. We give you...
- The solar whips--4 ft. ($18.90 value)
- The DC isolator box ($33,60 value)
- 10m of solar wire ($45.65 value)
- Electrical tape (for sealing the insulation), zip ties (for keeping the line set in place, gloves (to more easily grip the self-sealing quick connectors), 36" of insulation for covering the connectors and the line set near them, a hole saw for your drill (for passing the line set through the wall, whether it's stucco, concrete, brick, or wood), the correct-sized drill bits and a Phillips screwdriver bit (for setting the inside unit's mounting plate and the holder for the remote), and a level ($75 value for all of these goodies)
- The pre-installed plug-and-play twist-to-connect-in-5-minutes line set, communications control wire, and power cord
The whole kit and caboodle and then some. Oh, and importantly, once we do all of this pre-installing and pre-charging behind the scenes for you, we test-run your unit to make sure everything's up to snuff before shipping, so you're ensured everything is working correctly.
What's not included? The solar panels and solar mounting hardware. You'll need around 3,000 w. of solar. It doesn't need to be exact. If you are under, then just more grid power will be used. If you are over, there'll just be some voltage that doesn't ever convert to energy. No big deal either way. We don't offer the panels (as of now) because they're big, heavy, glass, and can't ship via UPS like the rest of the unit. We'll work to put you in touch with someone near you that can help with these. As of now, the solar panels should be around $1,150 plus mounting hardware.
So much free cooling. So little time, effort, money, and anxiety by doing it yourself, and no time, effort, money, or anxiety from begging a handy friend or hiring a 'contractor.' Give our patent-pending, award-winning, soon-to-be-cherished-by-you Quick 'n' Easy system a whirl risk free. The Quick 'n' Easy is true DIY solar air conditioning.

Care Instructions
The indoor unit's washable filter should be cleaned around once per quarter year. The coils on the indoor and outdoor unit should be cleaned as necessary. In most environments, once every 5 years is sufficient. Dusty and/or humid areas may require more frequent coil cleaning. Cables should be placed in conduit for best protection from the elements. Disconnects are are free.
